Some elementary students recently enjoyed a visit from a Texan magician.
On Friday, October 18, 2013, illusionist David Corn visited Sunset Heights Elementary for a show called “Magic and Morality.”
According to the Magic and Morality website, the show is a “public school oriented program that operates in conjunction with local churches to not only attract and entertain teens, but to also provide a forum for them to find answers to the questions that so many are asking.”
“[Corn] spoke to students abut how to be a success in life,” Elementary Counselor Jaime Davis said. “He had three keys for them: focus in school, obey your authority, and respect other people.”
David Corn’s illusions that are “well-developed and incredibly enjoyable tricks that allow him to connect with audiences of all ages,” their website said.
“[Our] students really enjoyed [the show],” Davis said. “They all wanted to be an assistant!”
