A few postal workers visited Pleasant View Elementary recently to talk about all things related to mail.
“We had [Kindergarten student] Jakaela’s mom and grandma and a friend come to talk to us about their job as a postal worker,” teacher Brandy Williams said. “We have been learning about community helpers, and how postal workers help us get our mail delivered to the right person.”
These postal workers even brought their work trucks and showed the students how all the mail fits in the little trucks.
“Our book [at the time] was Miss Bindergarten Takes a Field Trip, and they went to the post office,” Williams said. “But we were lucky enough to have the postal workers come to us!”
